I had high hopes for my stay at Ameristar, especially since it had a solid reputation and I was expecting a luxurious experience. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the construction noise that started at 4 am, which ruined my peace, and the room cleanliness left much to be desired. While the dining options were quite nice, the overall stay was marred by issues with the rooms and service that fell below expectations.

The cleanliness and overall comfort of the rooms are commendable, along with the excellent dining options available. However, I have encountered some issues, particularly with hot water availability during my last stay, which was disappointing. It’s a great place for a getaway, but there are some concerns that need to be addressed for a flawless experience.

I've been visiting Ameristar for years, but this last stay really hit some low points. While the room quality and food selection remain solid, the new $60 early check-in fee felt unfair, especially since my room was ready. The indoor pool being closed for the season and strange odors in the hallways were disappointing. It’s frustrating because I used to love my trips here, but now I’m reconsidering my options.
